More and more companies in Asia are producing CSR reports. But not all companies are aware
of the key challenges facing the region. The public is also getting more concerned about the
credibility of such reports.
At this upcoming CSR Briefing, Richard Welford of CSR Asia will highlight the key findings from
the newly released report, “CSR in Asia: The Real Picture.” He will present a view on the current
CSR development in Asia, with a particular focus on reporting and disclosure of CSR activities.
David Williams from The Hong Kong & Shanghai Hotels (The Peninsula Hotels) will talk about
their CSR report and share his view on how companies are responding to CSR trends in the
region. Richard Gunawan from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance will then address issues and
myths that companies would encounter during the verification process on CSR reports.
