The GlobalG.A.P. Aquaculture Standard sets strict criteria for animal welfare, environmental and ecological care, food safety, health and safety, and legal compliance.
The GlobalG.A.P. Aquaculture Standard covers seafood production, and the entire supply chain, with a series of standards designed to help verify that businesses meet accepted best practice in the sector. Version 5.1 comes after a four-year period of research and consultation and addresses a diverse range of fish, crustaceans and molluscs, as well as hatchery-based farmed species.
As early adopters of the GlobalG.A.P. Aquaculture Standard, Lloyd’s Register (LR) is ideally placed to deliver a specialist audit to your organisation covering everything from provenance and food safety to sustainability.
